I’m still having lots of fun with my new camera! Above is a pic of another one of my favorite Christmas presents – a Spark Dino wind-up toy. Isn’t he the greatest?!! He came from locally owned Seattle toy shop Archie McPhee and is quickly becoming my new favorite photo subject. You can find a few more pics of him on my Flickr page.

I’m having trouble getting a good shot of his sparks, which is the best part. I’m not sure how to balance his movement along with the low light levels needed for the sparks to show up in the pic. Any suggestions on how to capture him is all his glory would be much appreciated!!
